Top 5 PS4 Accessories

Being an avid gamer means dedication to your art. Or other people’s art. However you want to look at it, really. The point I’m trying to make is that many gamers aren’t satisfied with the standard controller and gaming system. Gamers are voracious creatures who want more out of their gaming experience and that mean’s investing in the best accessories. Here I bring to you some of the best accessories made for the PS4 and I don’t think you will be disappointed in the least.

PS Plus Subscription

Cost: About $50 for the year on Amazon, though you can get it cheaper in certain bundles

I know what you’re thinking. Is this really an accessory? And the answer is yes it is. An accessory is anything that enhances the experience and a PS Plus subscription does just that. Let’s talk about some of the perks, shall we? Every month you will get certain games for free download and these aren’t dinky little no name games. In July, their free game line up included Rain and Styx: Master of Shadows. Some of these games can only be downloaded for a month and some you can keep even longer.

If you have multiple PlayStation devices like a PS Vita or a PS3 the Plus subscription carries over to all your PlayStation devices and releases games for all of them. On top of all this you will also get cloud game storage and online play options.

PS4 Camera

Cost: About $50 on Amazon

Next we’ll talk about the camera. Many people are hesitant to buy a camera for their PS4 because not too many games are really utilizing it, though on NBA 2k15 you can scan your face onto one of the player’s faces which is either really neat or really creepy. However, the main draw of this camera is not the camera itself. It has a built in microphone that has excellent detection and allows you to use voice commands.

The other useful thing it can be used for is streaming reaction videos straight to YouTube. It’s a cool little accessory but the biggest draw is definitely its use of the microphone for voice commands.

Leteck PS4 Vertical Stand

Cost: $10-$20 on Amazon.

Okay, I know you were all waiting for the report on a vertical stand and this is the one. It’s a little hard to find online but if you can get it, snatch it up. Vertical stands are great for saving space and making everything look a little tidier. Most people think they’re all the same but I am here to tell you that is not true!

The PS4 fits this stand perfectly with no extra space and there’s no trying to cram it in. The finish also matches the PS4 perfectly. There’s really nothing else you could want from a stand.

Dualshock 4 Controller

Cost: $60 on Amazon

Of course the new Dualshock Controller was going to make it on here. What kind of animal do you think I am? This controller is definitely the best one yet. It’s fitted perfectly for your hands and uses the light bar much more effectively and more often. Game developers and finally getting the hang of touch pad and light bar gaming so we’re seeing much more interaction with these technologies.

This controller is really everything you could want in a new PS4 controller. It’s comfortable, ergonomic and is taking advantage of the upcoming technologies for controllers.

Sony Pulse Elite Edition Headset

Cost: About $100 on Amazon

From personal experience, these things are amazing. They fit your head and ears perfectly and you would never guess that these are Sony’s first attempt and a party headset. These things are damn near perfect all around. Their design is sleek with a black base and silver accents.

The design isn’t the biggest draw, however. This headset comes with bass impact technology. What does this mean? It means that the bass is perfectly tuned so that it’s loud but doesn’t hurt your ears. It’s going to make battle sequences even more incredible.

Oh, and did I mention they’re wireless? Because that’s important.
